Hey everyone,
For those working with open-source security datasets (like ASCAD, etc.), where do you prefer to host and share them?
Are you leaning towards Github, Zenodo, or something else?
Curious to hear your top choice and why!

Not github (doesn’t work well for “big” data). Zenodo is excellent and my default choice for dataset within its 50 GB limit. For larger datasets, I used university open-data repositories (e.g., this dataset: Power leakage traces of SMAesH). For public research datasets, I think that it’s very important to use repositories that ensure long-term availability and good references (like a DOI) - they are very much “upload and forget”. I avoid classical cloud data storage (e.g. dropbox), where the data is unlikely to remain available for more than a couple of years due to URL changes, end of employment contract, change of provider, etc.
